What You Will Do
- Source high-quality furniture and materials from suppliers in Foshan and nearby cities
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, confirm specifications, and manage logistics
- Conduct site visits to furniture markets, showrooms, factories, warehouses, and supplier facilities
- Collect and organize quotes, specifications, and other relevant information for review by designers and clients
- Manage the practical details of furniture sourcing, including ordering, inspection, packing, transport, and delivery
- Communicate clearly and effectively with designers, suppliers, logistics providers, and clients in English and Chinese
- Track details in a shared spreadsheet or document to ensure that decisions, prices, contacts, and next steps are organized and up-to-date
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed efficiently and effectively
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and status
What We Are Looking For
- Strong spoken and written Chinese, with working English for updates, summaries, and calls
- Experience in furniture sourcing, interior design procurement, export logistics, buying agency work, or similar hands-on sourcing work
- Good eye for quality, materials, finishes, dimensions, and practical delivery details
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Experience with project management tools and software, including spreadsheets and document management systems
