Job Description

About the Role

The American Society of Neuroradiology is seeking a highly skilled Overnight Teleradiology specialist to join their team. As a crucial member of the medical group, you will provide overnight Emergency imaging coverage, overseeing all aspects of diagnostic imaging for acutely ill and injured patients. Your expertise will span all organ systems and modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with all modalities of general body imaging and stroke imaging, including CTA and CTP. You will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists, equally sharing the workload to cover STAT exams and non-subspecialty routine studies. There will also be opportunities to participate in clinical research and resident education.

What You Will Do

  • Provide overnight Emergency imaging coverage for acutely ill and injured patients
  • Oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Utilize Excel and other diagnostic tools to analyze patient data
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced radiologists to cover STAT exams and routine studies
  • Participate in clinical research and resident education
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging and technology
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital staff and other medical professionals
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service

What We Are Looking For

  • BE/BC by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Association
  • Fellowship training in Radiology (preferred but not required)
  • Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited training program in Radiology
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Excellent clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a 7 on, 14 off overnight schedule
  • Proficiency in Excel and other diagnostic tools

Nice to Have

  • Neuroradiology expertise
  • Prior experience in Emergency Radiology
  • Experience working with Epic comprehensive health record keeping system and Phillips PACS system
  • Certification in a related specialty (e.g., CT, MRI, Body Imaging)
