About the Role
As an ABAP Developer at Nagarro, you will play a crucial role in the company's SAP S4HANA Transformation Projects, both brownfield and greenfield. Your day-to-day tasks will involve designing, developing, and optimizing ABAP programs in SAP systems, utilizing ABAP OOP principles and design patterns in line with the Clean Core strategy. You will also be responsible for adjusting and migrating Adobe Forms from SAP Script and Smartforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.The role is part of a global team, with colleagues spread across different locations. You will coordinate with these teams to ensure project execution is smooth and successful. Your fluency in both English and German will be invaluable in communicating with international stakeholders and managing projects efficiently.

What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs in SAP systems using ABAP OOP principles and design patterns according to the Clean Core strategy.
- Adjust and migrate Adobe Forms from SAP Script and Smartforms, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Participate in SAP S4HANA Transformation Projects, both brownfield and greenfield, supporting data migration projects.
- Maintain different types of interfaces, including IDOCs, Web services (OData, SOAP), etc.
- Support SAP upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance and expertise to help them grow professionally.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different locations for seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as an ABAP developer, with a strong background in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Fluency in English and German, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of ABAP OOP principles and design patterns.
- Experience with Adobe Forms, SAP Script, and Smartforms.
- Knowledge of SAP S4HANA Transformation Projects, including data migration.
