About the Role
The Abogada position at Grafton is a senior role that entails the direction and strategy of complex judicial procedures, as well as the management of litigation cases. The successful candidate will be part of a team of legal professionals and will be expected to lead and coordinate junior lawyers, as well as interact directly with clients.The role is based in Valladolid, and the company is looking for someone with a strong track record of managing complex legal cases and a proven ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Law and a Master's in Access to the Legal Profession, as well as at least six years of experience working in law firms.
What You Will Do
- Direct and strategize complex judicial procedures
- Manage and coordinate litigation cases, both civil and commercial
- Participate in national and international arbitration procedures
- Coordinate and supervise junior lawyers and teams
- Communicate directly with national and international clients
- Attend commercial meetings and follow-up meetings with clients
- Develop business and detect commercial opportunities
- Work closely with the legal team to achieve company goals
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and apply this knowledge to cases
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Law and Master's in Access to the Legal Profession
- At least six years of experience working in law firms
- Proven experience in managing complex legal cases
- Strong knowledge of judicial procedures and litigation
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Advanced level of English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
