Job Description

About the Role

The Accommodation Administrator role at Sodexo is a key position that involves managing the day-to-day operations of the company's accommodation services. As a member of the Integrated Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of accommodation administration run smoothly, from booking flights and rooms to maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service. The role is based on a FIFO 14/7 roster, which means that the successful candidate will work for 14 days and then have 7 days off. This arrangement provides a great work-life balance and allows professionals to recharge and pursue their interests outside of work. The Accommodation Administrator will report to the Integrated Services Manager and will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that all aspects of the accommodation services are delivered to a high standard.

What You Will Do

  • Manage all aspects of accommodation administration, including bookings, cancellations, and amendments
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure that all accommodation requests are met
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to their queries and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of all accommodation bookings and services
  • Ensure that all data entry is accurate and up-to-date
  • Provide support to the Integrated Services Manager and other members of the team
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the accommodation administration services
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that all services are delivered to a high standard
  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the hospitality or accommodation industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with data entry and record-keeping
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with accommodation management systems, such as Inflight Accommodation
  • Knowledge of FIFO work arrangements and the challenges of working in a remote location

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote location or with FIFO workers
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and the challenges of providing accommodation services
  • Experience with database management and analysis
  • Certification in hospitality or administration
