About the Role

The Account Director role at Openai is a pivotal position that combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and partnership-building skills to drive the adoption of AI solutions. As a key member of the Go To Market team, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that leverage Openai's cutting-edge AI products. This role is based in Paris, with a hybrid work model that offers the flexibility to work from home and collaborate with the team in the office.

The GTM team at Openai is a dynamic and multidisciplinary group of professionals, including sales, solutions, support, marketing, and partnerships. Together, they work to create valuable solutions that bring AI to as many users as possible. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans, and driving revenue growth.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities through strategic outreach and networking
  • Lead enterprise prospects through the sales cycle, from initial engagement to successful deployment
  • Develop and execute account plans that drive customer adoption and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with solutions and research engineering teams to build and execute complex customer programs and projects
  • Own and manage revenue targets, forecasts, and key account metrics
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product roadmap and corporate strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, business operations, and finance
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new teammates
  • Contribute to the development of company culture and values

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience selling and renewing platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service solutions
  • Proven track record of designing and executing complex deal strategies
  • Experience supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance companies
  • Strong skills in communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to gather, distill, and process complex market intelligence
  • Fluent English and Hebrew language skills (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market best practices and strategies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI or machine learning technologies
  • Knowledge of the current industry landscape, including competitors, partners, and trends
  • Certification in sales or marketing (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
