About the Role
The Account Director, Digital Natives role at OpenAI is a unique opportunity to drive revenue growth and develop comprehensive account plans for key Nordic clients. As a seasoned professional, you will lead the digital natives team and work closely with the GTM team to create valuable solutions that bring AI to as many users as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing a dozen key accounts, developing and executing strategies, and partnering with solutions and research engineering to build and execute complex customer programs.The GTM team at OpenAI is responsible for helping customers learn how to leverage and deploy AI products across their business. As an Account Director, you will play a crucial role in driving this mission forward and working with cross-functional teams to create a seamless customer experience.
In this role, you will report to the GTM leadership team and work closely with the sales, solutions, support, marketing, and partnership professionals to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Manage a dozen key accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans
- Lead enterprise prospects' journeys from consideration to successful deployment
- Partner with solutions and research engineering to build and execute complex customer programs and projects
- Own a consumption revenue target and manage consumption revenue forecasts
- Analyze key account metrics to create reports and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Closely monitor the industry landscape to contribute to product roadmap and other corporate strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solutions, marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management, and engineering
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of other teammates
- Support the development of company culture
What We Are Looking For
- 5-7+ years of experience selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service
- Achieving revenue targets >M per year for more than 3 years
- Designing and executing complex deal strategies
- Supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance companies
- Working directly with C-level executives
- Communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
- Leading high-visibility customer events
- Gathering, distilling, and processing complex market intelligence

- Experience working in the AI or tech industry
- Knowledge of GTM best practices and strategies
