About the Role

The Account Director, Enterprise role at NAVEX is a pivotal position focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to identify new business opportunities. This involves presenting the value of NAVEX's risk and compliance management solutions and services, leveraging your expertise in Salesforce and Excel to drive sales growth. As part of a dynamic team, you will work closely with various departments to advance the sales cycle and ensure healthy customer relationships.

Day-to-day, you will navigate complex sales scenarios, utilizing your understanding of multi-party sales to meet customer needs and deliver persuasive presentations. What You Will Do

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with existing NAVEX customers to create new business opportunities.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture existing customer relationships, leveraging prospecting techniques to expand solution and service offerings.
  • Utilize and coordinate internal resources to advance the sales cycle, ensuring a healthy customer relationship.
  • Navigate multiple buying contacts and groups across different functions to advance sales goals.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations by storytelling actual business scenarios in an engaging and compelling manner.
  • Identify and meet customer needs with strong discovery and consultative value selling.
  • Develop and prioritize a pipeline of opportunity beyond what is needed to achieve sales goals, accurately forecasting sales.
  • Attend initial in-person intensive training and ongoing virtual weekly product trainings.
  • Crush your sales quota, negotiating and closing opportunities.
  • Advance NAVEX's goals and operational effectiveness by learning and using AI-based tools.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of a successful B2B sales career track, targeting Enterprise organizations (6,000+ employee headcount).
  • Experience selling SaaS-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel.
  • Strong relationship-building and sales strategy skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and drive results.
  • Passion for selling new business and making a positive impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-based tools and their application in sales.
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance management solutions and services.
  • Certification in sales or a related field.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineering, Product Specialists, Legal, Customer Success, Marketing, Services & Support.
