About the Role
The Account Director, Partnership Consulting role at GMR Marketing is a strategic and growth-oriented position that requires a deep understanding of the sports and media landscape. As a key member of the team, you will lead sports and media partnership consulting and account management for a diverse portfolio of brands, reporting to the Vice President. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing partnership strategies, managing client and partner relationships, and delivering performance insights to optimize results.The role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including sports and media partnership architects, to create impactful strategies for GMR's client roster. You will also contribute to business development by supporting research and helping craft strategic responses to new opportunities.

What You Will Do
- Lead sports and media partnership consulting and account management for a diverse portfolio of brands
- Develop and execute partnership strategies that drive business growth and client engagement
- Manage client and partner relationships to ensure seamless execution and delivery of results
- Deliver performance insights and recommendations to optimize partnership strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute partnership plans
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation plans
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities to drive agency growth
- Provide strategic guidance and support to junior team members
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sports marketing, partnership development, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the sports and media landscape, including major professional sports leagues and women's sports
- Proven track record of building and executing partnership strategies from concept to measurement
- Excellent client and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and timelines
- Strong relationship management, accountability, and initiative to drive seamless execution and deliver measurable impact
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience using data and analytics tools
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and creative teams

- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email, and search engine marketing
