About the Role
Twilio is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its team in the UK, focusing on the DACH region. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with existing customers. Your day-to-day activities will involve sourcing new high-value customers, handling deals from internal leads to closure, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.The Account Executive role is critical to Twilio's continued success in the cloud communications market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to drive business growth and expand Twilio's customer base. Your expertise in solution-based selling, negotiation, and contract management will be essential in navigating complex sales processes and closing high-value deals.

What You Will Do
- Source new high-value customers and drive sales growth in the DACH region
- Handle deals from internal leads to closure, ensuring timely and successful sales cycles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contract process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success
- Develop and execute account plans, aligning with Twilio's business goals and objectives
- Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders, including sales leadership and product teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
- Participate in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise and software companies
- Strong experience in identifying, mapping, and prospecting enterprise accounts
- Proven success in selling cloud communications platforms, APIs, Conversational AI, and/or enterprise software
- Experience in account management, developing large enterprise clients, and a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Background in working with Fortune 500 or similarly large enterprises
- Expertise in solution-based selling or consultative selling
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and sales performance
Nice to Have
- Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Knowledge of cloud communications platforms, APIs, and Conversational AI
- Familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as CSP or CSO
