About the Role
At Twilio, the Account Executive 4 role is a crucial part of the Global Sales organization, tasked with prospecting, solution selling, and closing new business opportunities across the entire Twilio platform. This role involves driving profitable revenue growth by making multi-product selling the default sales motion, working closely with various teams such as Specialist Sales, Product Management, Field Marketing, Finance, and Solutions Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GTM, Salesforce, and Excel, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build trusted relationships with C-Suite executives.The role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders to design mutually beneficial contracts that address customer requirements while balancing the needs of the business. As a New Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for new customer acquisition, owning highly analytical and consultative sales cycles, and acting as a strategic partner to some of the largest and fastest-growing enterprise companies.

What You Will Do
- Be responsible for new customer acquisition across the full Twilio portfolio, with a quota for incremental Account Contract Value (iACV).
- Own highly analytical and consultative sales cycles to move past transactional vendor relationships and help customers unlock value seamlessly across the Twilio portfolio.
- Build trusted relationships at all levels, acting as a strategic partner to the C-Suite to drive sustained double-digit growth.
- Work with customers across assigned verticals and regions to understand their business and technical requirements, partnering with Specialist Sales to bring deep technical and domain expertise to complex deals.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists, Value Engineering, and Enterprise Strategists to incubate new solutions and accelerate the adoption of the Twilio platform.
- Design mutually beneficial contracts with customers, balancing their needs with those of the business, in collaboration with teams in Finance, Legal, Pricing, Product, and Operations.
- Simultaneously execute multiple projects and deals while maintaining high performance across shifting priorities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Specialist Sales, services, product, and GTM Strategy & Operations to develop long-range territory strategies and sales plans.
- Act as the voice of the customer to Twilio's product and carrier relations teams.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in the unified communications and data platform industry, as well as in the vertical industries you are focused on, leveraging deep technical expertise to lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology or software industry, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
- Proven expertise in GTM, Salesforce, and Excel, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build trusted relationships with C-Suite executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience working with enterprise clients, with a deep understanding of their business and technical requirements.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to design mutually beneficial contracts that meet customer needs while balancing the needs of the business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on innovation and customer-centricity.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
