Job Description

About the Role

The Account Executive position at Greenhouse is a critical role that involves driving sales of Air products to domestic law enforcement agencies. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will partner closely with the Key Account Leader to develop and execute account strategies, leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to deliver high-impact solutions.

In this role, the Account Executive will have significant autonomy and cross-functional influence, working closely with the broader sales team to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships. The ability to develop a deep understanding of Axon's Air products and technology offerings will be essential, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon's Air products and technology offerings to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies
  • Partner with the broader Axon sales team to sell Air as a specific offering, leveraging Google alerts, RFP requests, and other sources to generate leads
  • Develop and execute account strategy, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and internal teams
  • Utilize Salesforce and Excel to manage sales data, track leads, and analyze sales performance
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Leader to develop and deliver sales presentations and pitches
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to leverage Air products to meet emerging needs
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales team and other stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to differentiate Air products and services

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent applicable experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Account Executive role
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology
  • Ability to strategically approach and win accounts, as well as continue to grow or expand existing accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies or public safety organizations
  • Knowledge of counter-drone technology and Drone as First Responder (DFR) solutions
  • Familiarity with Google alerts and RFP requests
  • Experience with sales data analysis and performance tracking
  • Certification in sales or a related field
