## About the Role The Account Executive role at Looma is a dynamic position that combines sales, strategy, analysis, and design to optimize programs for alcohol brands. This role is critical in building and managing a book of business, focusing on selling both media buys and content production to brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating brands and their agencies about the need for optimized point-of-decision content and cultivating relationships of trust and respect with brand marketing executives.
Day-to-day, the Account Executive will be engaged in building top-of-the-funnel prospects and leading them through the sales pipeline to deal closure. This involves a deep understanding of the alcohol industry, the ability to design and pitch content strategies, and a strong analytical mindset to optimize programs for maximum impact.
The role reports directly to Looma's GM of AlcBev, indicating the importance of this position in driving business growth and strategy within the company. The team context is collaborative, with a focus on storytelling, education, and recommendations through Looma's network of in-store screens.
## What You Will Do - Build and manage a book of business with alcohol brands, focusing on media buys and content production.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
- Educate brands and their agencies about the benefits of optimized point-of-decision content.
- Design and pitch content strategies that align with Looma's human-centric approach and brands' marketing objectives.
- Cultivate relationships of trust and respect with brand marketing executives.
- Analyze sales performance and optimize programs for better results.
- Collaborate with the content production team to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage pipeline effectively to ensure consistent sales growth.
- Deep expertise in the retail and alcohol world, with a strong understanding of sales cycles and organizational dynamics.
- Analytically savvy, with a proven ability to study performance and optimize programs.
- A passion for beautiful, impactful content and strong consumer/branding instincts.
- Self-guided and able to work with multiple stakeholders and ambiguity.
- Experience in pipeline management and a track record of hitting or exceeding quarterly goals.
- Preferably, experience in a startup environment and managing an advertising or analytics product.
- Knowledge of digital media platforms and their applications in retail settings.
- Familiarity with the production of point-of-decision content and its impact on brand marketing strategies.
- Background in designing and executing content strategies for alcohol brands.
