About the Role
The Account Executive role at JDA Software is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry and the ability to sell complex software solutions to top clients. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities. The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive revenue growth and expand the company's footprint in the automotive sector.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling software solutions to enterprise-level clients. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's footprint in the automotive sector
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at top automotive industry clients
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive revenue growth
- Use Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pipeline and track progress
- Develop and deliver compelling value propositions to clients
- Negotiate and close deals with clients
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales team and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and knowledge
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling software solutions to enterprise-level clients
- Strong background in the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of the sector and its key players
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or engineering
- Experience with supply chain management solutions and cloud-based software
- Proven ability to work in a team-based environment
