Job Description

About the Role

As a dynamic Account Executive specializing in new business sales, you will play a crucial role in Celonis' strategy to expand its market share in the Automotive industry. Your primary objective will be to land net-new customers in the Fortune 2000, driving revenue growth and fostering long-term partnerships. You will be part of the North America Enterprise Sales Team, reporting to the Sales Director of Automotive, and will have the opportunity to work with world-class products and a collaborative network of value engineers and business development representatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying and developing new opportunities within a defined territory, managing the entire sales process, and engaging with strategic stakeholders to build strong relationships. You will need to have a deep understanding of the Automotive industry, as well as the ability to communicate the value of Celonis' solutions to C-level executives and key decision-makers.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Automotive industry
  • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to closing six-figure deals
  • Engage with strategic stakeholders, including C-level executives, operational leaders, and key decision-makers
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and demonstrate how Celonis' solutions can solve their strategic and operational challenges
  • Present use-case-specific pitches and demos to highlight the measurable impact of Celonis solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including value engineers, business development representatives, and customer success managers
  • Work closely with partners, such as Big 4 consulting firms and SaaS providers, to enhance the value proposition for prospects
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform sales strategies and optimize results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive sales growth and innovation

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven SaaS sales experience, with a focus on securing new business and consistently achieving revenue targets
  • Expertise in complex sales, with experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within large enterprise accounts
  • Industry knowledge, with familiarity with enterprise business applications such as analytics, BI, or ERP
  • Business acumen, with a solid understanding of business processes and key performance indicators across the Automotive industry
  • Strong communication skills, with exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities to confidently influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Collaborative mindset, with a team-oriented approach to leveraging internal and external resources to achieve shared goals
  • Experience working with C-level executives, with the ability to engage with CFOs, COOs, CSCO, and CPOs
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation and process intelligence, with the ability to communicate the value of these concepts to clients

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Big 4 consulting firms or other industry partners
  • Familiarity with Celonis' Process Intelligence Graph and its applications in the Automotive industry
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CPSA or SPIN selling certification
  • Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment, with the ability to manage a virtual territory and collaborate with distributed teams
