About the Role

The Account Executive role at Elevenlabs represents a pivotal position in the company's Canadian operations, focusing on building and managing a growing portfolio of new accounts across various industries. This role is about more than just sales; it's about partnering with organizations to unlock new experiences and monetization opportunities through the power of conversational AI. As a founding member of the Canadian go-to-market team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build the Canadian playbook from the ground up, working closely with the General Manager of Canada and the broader team.

As part of Elevenlabs, the Account Executive will be at the heart of driving revenue growth through the identification of new business opportunities where ElevenLabs' conversational AI capabilities can make a significant impact. This involves staying ahead of the curve in terms of industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies that could influence the adoption of conversational AI.

The role is set against the backdrop of a company that is pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI. From enabling seamless customer experiences through ElevenAgents, empowering creators with ElevenCreative, to providing developers with access to leading AI audio foundational models via ElevenAPI, Elevenlabs is revolutionizing how businesses interact with technology.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and manage a growing portfolio of new accounts across various industries, focusing on the adoption of conversational AI.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities where ElevenLabs' solutions can drive significant value.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential and existing client companies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the conversational AI landscape, including customer use cases, competitive solutions, and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to align strategies and enhance the sales process.
  • Utilize Excel and other sales tools to track performance, manage sales data, and forecast sales growth.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends, competitors, and potential new business opportunities.
  • Participate in the development of sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and competitor activity.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in sales, preferably in the technology or software industry, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to close, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong business development skills, including the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
