Job Description

About the Role

The Account Executive role at Capchase is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of sales, finance, and technology skills. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from sourcing and selling to launching new vendor financing partnerships. This involves identifying high-potential technology vendors, crafting compelling value propositions, and building financing programs that drive mutual growth.

The role is integral to Capchase's mission to transform how hardware and software companies sell and get paid. By embedding flexible payment terms directly into the sales workflow, Capchase helps teams close deals faster without the friction of a separate financing system. As an Account Executive, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Risk, Capital Markets, and Implementation, to create tailored solutions that serve both vendors and their end customers.

Capchase is a vibrant and diverse company, with a team representing over 15 nationalities and a presence in 10 markets. The company has achieved remarkable growth, with $2B+ funded, approvals in seconds, and a seamless experience for both sellers and buyers. As an Account Executive, you will be part of a team that is shaping the future of financing for technology companies.

What You Will Do

  • Source and close net-new vendor partnerships that align with Capchase's embedded financing thesis
  • Lead the design, negotiation, and launch of new embedded financing programs, including pricing, structure, and credit requirements
  • Engage senior decision-makers and articulate how financing can unlock top-line growth, increase close rates, or eliminate cash flow friction
  • Drive top-down alignment with finance leaders and bottom-up adoption with sales enablement and field reps
  • Collaborate internally with credit, legal, operations, and product teams to shepherd complex deals to close and ensure a successful launch
  • Maintain a healthy outbound pipeline, prioritize the right deals, and deliver consistent quota attainment
  • Serve as a voice of the market, sharing real-time insights with Product and Risk to continuously evolve Capchase's embedded offerings
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, using Salesforce to manage leads and track progress
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand existing relationships

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role, with required experience in equipment financing or vendor finance
  • Deep familiarity with financial products, embedded finance, or capital solutions tailored to B2B vendors or OEMs
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling approach, with comfort selling to both economic buyers and technical users
  • Experience working with technology companies, such as SaaS, hardware, infrastructure, or IT services vendors
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a fintech company or a related industry
  • Knowledge of capital markets and financing options
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Certification in sales or finance, such as CPSA or CFA

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure
  • Equity options and stock ownership
  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance
  • Generous PTO and holiday policy
  • Remote work stipend and flexible work arrangements
  • Professional development opportunities and training
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and tools
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment
  • Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance

How to Stand Out

  • Make sure to highlight your experience with Salesforce and other sales tools in your application and during interviews.
  • Be prepared to provide specific examples of your sales achievements and how you have added value to previous companies.
  • Research Capchase's innovative approach to financing and be ready to discuss how you can contribute to the company's mission.
  • Tailor your resume and cover letter to the job description, emphasizing your relevant skills and experience.
  • Prepare to ask insightful questions during the interview, such as 'What are the biggest challenges facing the sales team right now?' or 'Can you tell me more about the company culture?'
  • Show enthusiasm and passion for the industry and the company, and be prepared to discuss your long-term career goals and how they align with Capchase's vision.
