About the Role
The Account Executive role at Ramp is a critical position that requires a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth and close deals with C-Level executives. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for owning the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and developing strategies to uncover customer needs and pain points. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and close deals with C-Level executives
- Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and manage a pipeline of potential customers
- Leverage sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and pain points and articulate Ramp's value proposition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to incorporate customer feedback and drive growth
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide excellent customer service to drive customer satisfaction
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to inform sales strategies and optimize performance
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ramp's products and services and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
- Manage sales activity and monthly revenue forecasting in Salesforce
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full cycle closing role with strong prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing skills
- Experience closing 10-15 deals a month with an average deal size of $30K in ACV
- Ability to discuss Ramp's value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and decision makers
- Experience with outbound prospecting and conducting product demonstrations
- Consultative sales approach and comfortable leveraging analytical and quantitative skills
- Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
- High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel
