About the Role

The Account Executive position at Williams-Sonoma is a pivotal role in the company's Business to Business (B2B) team, which focuses on delivering substantial sales growth across the B2B channel. This team works closely with professionals in hospitality, commercial, and residential market segments to build and manage a diverse project pipeline that generates large volume incremental sales. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving meaningful sales growth across all Williams-Sonoma brands, including Pottery Barn, West Elm, Rejuvenation, Williams-Sonoma Home, and Mark & Graham. This role is fully remote but requires the candidate to be based in the Denver or Rocky Mountain area.

Day-to-day, the role involves developing, managing, and growing the B2B client base and sales pipeline through leveraging and building relationships. Facilitating project-based solutions and working with cross-functional teams to close large volume orders across all brands is also crucial. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the B2B sales landscape and the ability to represent Williams-Sonoma through outstanding product knowledge and service.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, manage, and grow the B2B client base and sales pipeline
  • Leverage and build relationships with key contacts in the hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors
  • Facilitate project-based solutions and work with cross-functional teams to close large volume orders
  • Promote Williams-Sonoma products and services to prospective and existing B2B clients through various outreach opportunities
  • Conduct continuous follow-up on outstanding quotes and identify new opportunities to generate additional sales
  • Effectively represent Williams-Sonoma through outstanding product knowledge and outstanding service
  • Partner with the care center support teams and corporate office partners as needed
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan and sales strategy for driving sales growth across all brands
  • Proactively seek opportunities for expansion in new industry verticals
  • Maintain and track your business pipeline using Salesforce
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts to deliver the Williams-Sonoma value proposition

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years of directly relevant sales experience within the contract furniture/hospitality industry
  • A passion for furniture and interior design
  • Advanced product knowledge in at least two categories: indoor contract grade furniture, outdoor contract grade furniture, residential furniture, lighting, textiles, bath/plumbing, or flooring
  • An established book of business in the North/Central Florida market or similar
  • A proven track record of driving meaningful sales growth
  • The ability to build relationships with both internal partners and external clients
  • Excellent proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving skills
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time during peak seasons
  • Prior experience in business to business sales and/or retail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Salesforce experience (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
