About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive position at Atlassian is a pivotal role that involves developing and implementing effective territory strategies to drive the growth and adoption of Atlassian's solutions and services among its largest enterprise customers. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities to add value through Atlassian's portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, including Channel Partners, Product Specialists, and the internal Marketing organization, to position Atlassian's value proposition and elevate existing relationships.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement territory and named account plans to maximize expansion opportunities across Atlassian's product portfolio.
  • Maintain full account ownership and coordinate with account team stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Work closely with the internal Atlassian Channel team and external partners to build and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Engage customers through regular meetings, executive engagements, roundtables, and participation in Atlassian and partner-led events.
  • Ensure customers are educated on the value of Atlassian's Cloud-based 'System of Work', including AI, Scaled Agile, Enterprise Service Management, Work Management, and DevOps solutions.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers to understand technical initiatives and drive business outcomes for customers.
  • Exceed quotas and performance metrics by scaling engagements across the designated territory.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Atlassian's ability to serve customers better through open collaboration and feedback.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in line with Atlassian's products and solutions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop strategic account plans tailored to the needs of each major client.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience managing Enterprise customers across an India-focused territory, with a minimum of 15 years of sales experience in a B2B SaaS or consumption-based pricing sales environment.
  • Proven track record of managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities.
  • Extensive experience utilizing a CRM to achieve and correlate key performance metrics.
  • Ability to build and lead territory and strategic account plans.
  • Experience leading or coordinating account teams to drive successful customer outcomes.
  • Strong consultative and solution-oriented approach to sales, with the ability to proactively engage customers and uncover new opportunities.
  • Consistent performance in meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Ability to contribute positively to team culture and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of the software development industry and the ability to articulate the value of Atlassian's solutions.
  • Experience with SaaS sales to Dev/IT audiences and solution selling to VP and C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian's suite of products and services.

  • Experience working alongside a Channel sales organization.
