About the Role

The Account Executive, Enterprise role at Clio is a high-impact position that involves selling category-defining AI and legal technology solutions to prestigious law firms and corporate legal departments. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving change in an industry that is ready for transformation. Your day-to-day activities will include building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations.

Your reporting structure will include regular check-ins with your sales manager and quarterly business reviews to discuss your progress and goals.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at law firms and corporate legal departments
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to address specific client needs
  • Collaborate with the Solutions team to create tailored proposals that align with client requirements
  • Guide clients through customized solution recommendations, ensuring proposals align with their business objectives
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both client needs and Clio's commercial goals
  • Drive deals to close by aligning with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in HubSpot
  • Develop and submit regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates for management review
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the legal industry, particularly in case management and legal technology
  • Use competitor and market insights to strategically influence sales positioning and client conversations
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless buyer experience

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in legal tech
  • Consultative selling skills, with the ability to ask smart questions and translate product features into customer impact
  • Experience running complex, multi-threaded deals with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
  • High proficiency with CRM tools and sales metrics
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and events as needed (up to 25%)
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align sales motions with company strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
