About the Role
The Account Executive, Enterprise at Fivetran is a highly strategic role that requires a deep understanding of the enterprise software sales landscape and the ability to drive aggressive new customer and partner revenue goals. As a key member of the Fivetran sales team, you will be responsible for growing the company's footprint in the Enterprise market through value-driven sales cycles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and analytics, to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software sales, with a proven track record of success in navigating complex organizations and driving revenue growth. You will be comfortable speaking with C-level executives and individual contributors, and have a deep understanding of the modern data technology industry and key players.
As an Account Executive, Enterprise at Fivetran, you will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and be able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. You will be highly organized, with excellent presentation and listening skills, and the ability to build strategic relationships with partners and customers.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, alliances, operations, and analytics to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
- Accelerate the growth and adoption of Fivetran in the Enterprise Market through value-driven sales cycles
- Lead in-depth discovery and demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers' data challenges, identifying required capabilities and positive business outcomes to drive towards valuable long-term customer engagements
- Speak comfortably about Fivetran's vision to a broad range of audiences, from C-level executives to individual contributors
- Seek out and land deals with new Enterprise target accounts, then look to grow their footprint with Fivetran through new use cases, cross-sells, and expansion
- Build strategic relationships with partners to identify new opportunities and accelerate deal cycles
- Forecast accurately and provide clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing and progressing opportunities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of large enterprise software sales experience and well-developed pattern recognition for navigating complex organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to hold multiple stakeholders accountable throughout a complex value-driven sales cycle
- In-depth familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players
- Experience with a solution-based approach to selling, with a strong track record of managing complex sales processes and possessing excellent presentation and listening skills
- Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Highly organized, with excellent contact management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools
Nice to Have
- Experience working with data integration platforms and technologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks, such as Challenger or Solution Selling
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as CSPO or SaaS sales certification
