## About the Role The Account Executive, Enterprise position at Fivetran is a pivotal role that drives the company's aggressive new customer and partner revenue goals, focusing on expanding its footprint in the Enterprise market. This is a full-time, remote position based out of the US, ideally in Connecticut or surrounding areas. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including marketing, customer success, alliances, operations, and analytics, to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue targets.

Reporting into the sales leadership team, the Account Executive will be expected to develop and execute strategic sales plans, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the enterprise software sales landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

## What You Will Do - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, alliances, operations, and analytics to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals.

  • Accelerate the growth and adoption of Fivetran in the Enterprise Market through value-driven sales cycles.
  • Lead in-depth discovery and demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers’ data challenges, identifying required capabilities and positive business outcomes to drive towards valuable long-term customer engagements.
  • Speak comfortably about Fivetran’s vision to a broad range of audiences from C-level executives to individual contributors.
  • Seek out and land deals with new Enterprise target accounts, then look to grow their footprint with Fivetran through new use cases, cross-sells, and expansion.
  • Build strategic relationships with partners in order to identify new opportunities and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Forecast accurately and provide clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing and progressing opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Fivetran’s products and services, as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Utilize CRM software to track interactions, opportunities, and sales performance.
  • Participate in sales strategy sessions and contribute to the development of best practices.
## What We Are Looking For - 8+ years of large enterprise software sales experience and well-developed pattern recognition for navigating complex organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to hold multiple stakeholders accountable throughout a complex value-driven sales cycle.
  • In-depth familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players.
  • Familiarity with a solution-based approach to selling, experience managing a complex sales process, and possessing excellent presentation and listening skills, organization, and contact management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline solutions and their application in enterprise settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science.
## Nice to Have - Experience with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of data integration technologies and platforms.
  • Certification in sales or data-related fields.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Familiarity with the sales process in the data technology industry.
