About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive position at Fivetran is a critical role in driving the company's mission to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with partners, and driving revenue growth. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and analytics, to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the enterprise software sales landscape and a proven track record of success in navigating complex organizations. You will be working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new customers.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, alliances, operations, and analytics to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
  • Accelerate the growth and adoption of Fivetran in the Enterprise Market through value-driven sales cycles
  • Lead in-depth discovery and demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers' data challenges, identifying required capabilities and positive business outcomes to drive towards valuable long-term customer engagements
  • Speak comfortably about Fivetran's vision to a broad range of audiences, from C-level executives to individual contributors
  • Seek out and land deals with new Enterprise target accounts, then look to grow their footprint with Fivetran through new use cases, cross-sells, and expansion
  • Build strategic relationships with partners in order to identify new opportunities and accelerate deal cycles
  • Forecast accurately and provide clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing and progressing opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the curve
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fivetran's products and services, as well as the overall market landscape

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of large enterprise software sales experience, with a well-developed pattern recognition for navigating complex organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to hold multiple stakeholders accountable throughout a complex value-driven sales cycle
  • In-depth familiarity with the modern data technology industry and key players
  • Solution-based approach to selling, with experience managing a complex sales process and possessing excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Organization and contact management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Experience working with CRM systems and other sales tools, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the sales process and the ability to drive revenue growth

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with data integration platforms, with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of data pipeline creation and management
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and experience working with large datasets
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CRM or sales methodology certification
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
