## About the Role As an Account Executive at Stripe, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's footprint within existing accounts. This is a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from startups to large enterprises, and help them achieve their business goals using Stripe's innovative financial infrastructure platform. You will be responsible for managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe's revenue. The role requires a deep understanding of the financial technology industry and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop and execute long-term sales strategies. ## What You Will Do - Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Stripe's revenue within existing accounts - Manage existing relationships and identify new opportunities to grow Stripe's footprint - Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies - Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Develop account plans and cross-sell into your list of strategic customers - Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals - Develop relationships with executive stakeholders within your book of business - Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process - Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on customer needs - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
## What We Are Looking For - 10+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product - 8+ years leading complex sales cycles with Enterprise organizations - Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products - Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units - Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders - Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment - Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space
## Nice to Have - Experience working in the fintech industry - Knowledge of Stripe's products and services - Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management tools - Certification in sales or a related field
