About the Role
At Stripe, the Account Executive, Existing Business plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth with the company's largest and most innovative clients. This involves developing and executing tailored sales strategies that align with the clients' evolving needs, leveraging Stripe's cutting-edge payments and financial infrastructure. As part of the CEE team, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders, from product teams to executive-level decision-makers, to unlock new revenue streams and growth opportunities.The CEE team is renowned for its highly consultative sales approach, fostering deep partnerships with companies like Booksy, Maczfit, and Dr.Max. By understanding the intricacies of these businesses and the challenges they face, you will be able to position Stripe's solutions as a key competitive advantage. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is passionate about technology and its potential to drive economic growth.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Stripe's revenue with existing clients
- Own the full sales cycle, from business case development to deal negotiation and closure
- Build and maintain a named account list, with a focus on high-growth technology companies
- Engage in outbound strategies to create and nurture new opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals
- Foster deep relationships with executive stakeholders within your client base
- Conduct thorough account mapping to identify and exploit new business opportunities
- Collaborate on team projects to refine the sales process and contribute to the Stripe sales culture
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product teams, to align on technical and business requirements
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in a highly technical field with a proven track record of success
- Ability to grasp technical requirements and craft solutions that meet multiple product needs
- Experience in developing and executing account plans across multiple business units
- Excellent presentation skills, particularly in multi-stakeholder settings
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and close deals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- A strong interest in technology and its applications
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
Nice to Have
- Fluency in other CEE languages
- Experience in the fintech or payments industry
- Knowledge of the startup and SMB ecosystem
- Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems
- Participation in sales training programs or certifications
