About the Role

As an Account Executive at GlossGenius, you will be at the forefront of the company's outbound sales motion, focusing on service businesses with 2 or more providers. Your role will entail running the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and qualification to closing deals and onboarding new customers. You will be working closely with a team of sales professionals and will report directly to a Sales Manager. The position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the continental United States, with a hybrid schedule expected for those based in the NYC or SF area.

The success of GlossGenius's AI-powered system in helping service businesses earn more revenue and free up time for what matters most has created a significant demand for skilled sales professionals who can further expand the company's outreach. As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities, leveraging AI to research prospects, personalize outreach, and streamline administrative tasks.

What You Will Do

  • Run the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and qualification through close
  • Identify pain points quickly across a wide range of buyers and tailor your approach accordingly
  • Utilize AI to research prospects, personalize outreach at volume, and minimize administrative work
  • Onboard new customers onto the GlossGenius platform, ensuring they see value fast
  • Surface customer and prospect feedback to Marketing, Product, and Ops teams
  • Exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently, adopting a metrics-driven approach to pipeline and time management
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of GlossGenius's products and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve the sales process and customer experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity, applying insights to enhance sales strategies
  • Participate in sales strategy sessions and contribute to the growth of the sales team

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-2 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of hitting goals in competitive environments
  • Experience in using AI as a regular part of your work, with a genuine curiosity about its potential applications
  • Ability to move swiftly, picking up the phone, trying new approaches, and adjusting based on what works
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize across a full pipeline
  • Clear, confident communication skills, capable of explaining GlossGenius's value to service business owners effectively
  • A metrics-driven approach to tracking and improving performance across key indicators
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to change and feedback
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
