## About the Role The Account Executive position at Justworks is a critical component of the company's sales team, responsible for expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth. This role requires a skilled professional who can manage the full sales cycle, from building and managing a sales pipeline to contract negotiation and closing deals. As an Account Executive in-territory in Sarasota, you will be the face of Justworks in your territory, establishing a presence, and fostering relationships with the small business community.
Day-to-day, you will be expected to proactively prospect for new business, leveraging market research, sales tools, and cold prospecting to meet or exceed your quotas. Your ability to gain a sound understanding of Justworks' value proposition and effectively communicate it to new potential customers will be paramount to your success. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.

## What You Will Do - Manage your own book of business, building and managing an end-to-end sales pipeline and all supporting activities.
- Establish a presence in your territory, researching the local market, developing a marketing and networking plan, and building relationships with the small business community.
- Proactively prospect for new business through market research, sales tools, and cold prospecting.
- Gain a sound understanding of Justworks' value proposition and effectively communicate it to new potential customers.
- Be the voice of future customers, suggesting innovative ideas to generate sales, cultivate customer pipeline leads, and improve the overall customer experience.
- Be an ambassador of Justworks and its solutions, striving to gain an intimate and comprehensive knowledge of the company's suite of products.
- Travel within your territory in the Sarasota area as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Proficiency in sales tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in market research and analysis.
