About the Role
As an Account Executive at Justworks, you'll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from building and managing a sales pipeline to closing deals. You'll work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and expansion, identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with customers. Your day-to-day will involve prospecting, market research, and contract negotiation, all while staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.The sales team at Justworks is a dynamic and supportive environment, where you'll have the opportunity to work with leaders in the startup community and learn from their experiences. What You Will Do
- Manage your own book of business, building and maintaining a sales pipeline and all supporting activities
- Establish a presence in your territory, researching the local market and developing a marketing and networking plan
- Proactively prospect for new business, using market research, sales tools, and cold prospecting
- Gain a deep understanding of Justworks' value proposition and effectively communicate it to new customers
- Be the voice of future customers, suggesting innovative ideas to generate sales and improve the customer experience
- Build relationships with the small business community, attending networking events and conferences
- Travel within your territory, meeting with customers and prospects
- Perform other duties as needed, supporting the sales team and contributing to company-wide initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry or role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and customer relationships
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and other sales tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or marketing
