About the Role
The Account Executive role at Cirrus Data Solutions is a critical position that involves defining and executing sales plans to meet and exceed quota targets. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities, as well as developing and managing a robust sales pipeline. Your day-to-day activities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, presenting Cirrus Data Solutions' products and services to potential clients, and building strong relationships with partners, distributors, and value-added resellers (VARs).The Account Executive role is based in Tokyo, Japan, and requires a strong understanding of the local market and the ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English. You will be working closely with the CDSI management team to provide feedback on market opportunities, identify new business channels, and develop strategies to drive growth.
As a sales professional in the tech industry, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working with complex data center design environments and co-selling with partners to enable rapid growth. Your expertise in data storage, including data migration, data protection, and business continuity/disaster recovery (BCDR/CDP), will be essential in driving sales and revenue growth.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute sales plans to meet and exceed quota targets
- Prospect, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Present Cirrus Data Solutions' products and services to potential clients
- Build strong relationships with partners, distributors, and VARs
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Provide feedback on market opportunities and identify new business channels
- Develop strategies to drive growth and expand the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the CDSI management team to achieve sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in tech sales, preferably in IT infrastructure or SaaS
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
- Strong knowledge of data storage, including data migration, data protection, and BCDR/CDP
- Proven track record of landing new logos and exceeding sales targets
- Strong social media presence and experience leveraging social media for sales
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, and VARs
- Consistent overachievement of sales targets and a strong drive to succeed
- Experience selling complex solutions and working with cross-functional teams

- Experience with data management solutions and enterprise-class technology
