About the Role
The Account Executive IV role at WellSky is a pivotal position focused on driving revenue growth within the long-term care SaaS sector. This involves identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities, with a primary focus on securing strategic, high-value deals with both new and existing clients. The role is part of the Post-Acute Care Facilities team, which is dedicated to generating new business and shaping the future of healthcare.Day-to-day, the Account Executive IV will strategize selling approaches and revenue growth plans in collaboration with business unit leadership to drive significant business impact. This requires a deep understanding of the long-term care market, the ability to proactively identify market trends and conditions, and the skill to pivot selling strategies as needed.
The role involves complex client relationships and sales processes, from inception to closure, including managing deal status, strategy, budget cycle, and personnel, as well as leading contract negotiations. Effective navigation of multiple decision-makers and stakeholders is essential for success.
What You Will Do
- Identify, define, and qualify new sales opportunities by engaging large-sized prospects and clients.
- Strategize selling approaches and revenue growth plans in collaboration with business unit leadership.
- Assist with strategic partnerships and sales channels when appropriate.
- Proactively identify market trends and conditions, industry changes, and competitor activities.
- Lead complex client relationships and sales processes from inception to closure.
- Navigate multiple decision-makers, stakeholders, and effectively lead contract negotiations.
- Track the status and activities of all assigned accounts and prospects in Salesforce.
- Generate periodic reports upon request related to expected closures, overall prospect lists, and other necessary information.
- Achieve quarterly goals related to lead generation, pipeline management, and quota attainment set by WellSky.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8-12 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for healthcare experience.
- Strong background in sales, particularly in the SaaS sector.
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel.
- Ability to strategize and execute sales plans.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% based on business needs.
- Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
Nice to Have
- Post-acute experience.
- BSN in Nursing or clinical experience, preferably in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Group Homes, and Memory Care.
- Experience with long-term care SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including current trends and challenges.
