About the Role
The Account Executive, Manager role at Stripe is a critical position that involves managing a portfolio of strategic users and driving growth through partnerships. As a key member of the Platform Partnerships team, you will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your users, driving adoption of Stripe's product portfolio and navigating complex commercial negotiations. Your team will rely on you for guidance and support, and you will be responsible for developing and executing tailored partnership strategies that drive mutual growth.The Platform Partnerships team is responsible for managing and growing relationships with a diverse array of leading platforms, from ecommerce infrastructure and website builders to vertical SaaS, marketplaces, and developer tools. As an Account Executive, Manager, you will work closely with partners at every level, from technical product teams to C-suite executives, to craft joint go-to-market strategies, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and co-build roadmaps.
What You Will Do
- Own and manage a portfolio of key accounts end-to-end, serving as the primary relationship lead across business, technical, and executive stakeholders
- Serve as a senior Stripe leader for a team of Account Executives and executive sponsor for key customer and partner relationships across AMER
- Develop and execute tailored partnership strategies and joint business plans that drive mutual growth, deepen product integration, and expand Stripe's footprint across each partner's platform
- Drive revenue growth through partner retention, strategic account planning, cross-selling Stripe's product portfolio, and identifying new use cases within existing partnerships
- Lead complex, multi-product commercial negotiations, structuring deals that align partner incentives with Stripe's growth objectives
- Own the operational rhythm of your business, including pipeline forecasting, internal reporting, and cross-functional communications to keep stakeholders aligned and deals moving
- Build trusted, consultative relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organizations, including product, engineering, finance, and executive leadership
- Partner closely with Stripe's Product and Engineering teams to surface partner needs and influence the roadmap
- Develop and deliver compelling business reviews, partnership proposals, and executive-level narratives that clearly articulate the value of the Stripe partnership
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a business development, account management, or partnerships role, preferably in the tech or fintech industry
- Proven track record of driving growth through partnerships and developing strategic relationships
- Strong business development acumen, with the ability to identify new opportunities and navigate complex commercial negotiations
- Technical fluency, with experience working with product and engineering teams to co-build roadmaps and integrate products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insightful recommendations

- Experience working with GTM and Excel, with a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with the fintech industry, with a strong understanding of the trends and challenges facing the market
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues across different time zones
- A strong understanding of the ecommerce and payments landscape, with experience working with leading platforms and marketplaces
