About the Role
As an Account Executive at Zoom, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expansion in the UK mid-market sector. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and selling Zoom's innovative communication and collaboration products. You will be part of a dynamic sales team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth.The role entails working closely with mid-market level clients, typically with 50-500 employees, to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You will need to have a deep understanding of the UK business landscape, as well as the technology market, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain relationships with mid-market level clients in the UK
- Sell Zoom's communication and collaboration products, including video meetings, phone, chat, and whiteboard
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand existing relationships
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
- Provide feedback and insights to internal stakeholders to improve sales strategies and product development
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in a SaaS or cloud environment
- Experience in the AI/communications sector is preferred
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the UK business landscape and technology market
- Ability to initiate new accounts and manage complex sales situations
- Experience selling to the UK and Irish market at the mid-market level
- Strong business forecasting, pipeline development, and account management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with high-level clients
- Knowledge of sales tools, such as Navigator and ZoomInfo
Nice to Have
- Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Certification in sales or a related field
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms
