About the Role

Gorgias is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their dynamic sales team in Paris. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales and customer experience for e-commerce businesses, helping them to elevate their support experience and boost sales. You will be working closely with the marketing and product teams to align efforts and ensure continuous improvement.

The sales team at Gorgias is fast-growing and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for owning the sales journey, from lead generation to closing deals. You will need to be able to build strong relationships with clients, understand their specific needs, and showcase the power of Gorgias' platform.

What You Will Do

  • Own the sales journey, leading discovery, demo, and pricing calls with prospects
  • Engage with inbound leads, guiding them through the buying journey
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and answering questions
  • Drive results quickly, focusing on closing deals efficiently while delivering an exceptional experience
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align efforts and ensure continuous improvement
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene, following up with prospects and nurturing relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve sales strategies
  • Develop and execute sales plans, meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Provide feedback to the product team, helping to shape the development of Gorgias' platform
  • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and support

What We Are Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in tech sales, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools and their importance in maintaining data integrity
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience selling SaaS or working with e-commerce clients
  • Knowledge of API and HTTP integrations
  • Familiarity with MEDPICC methodology
  • Prior experience with customer support software
  • Driven to succeed, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a talent for spotting and leveraging opportunities

  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of conversational commerce and its applications
