## About the Role As an Account Executive at Plaid, you will be at the forefront of driving the company's mission to unlock financial freedom for everyone. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying and closing deals across various verticals, including financial services, utilities, billing, and insurance. You will be working closely with a cross-functional team to drive growth and develop a book of high-potential engaged prospects. In terms of reporting structure, you will be working closely with the Sales team and will be responsible for driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets. You will also be collaborating with various departments, including Product and Engineering, to ensure a seamless sales motion.

## What You Will Do - Identify high-growth companies and develop a book of engaged prospects - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries - Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth - Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and support a consultative sales motion - Lead technical sales motions and guide engineers, product, and growth team members - Coordinate resources and drive initiatives across Plaid to support sales efforts - Own the mastery of Plaid solutions and evangelize for industry success - Develop territory plans and execute to plan - Collaborate internally and exhibit a 'win as a team' mentality - Prospect and close deals across various verticals

## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of quota-carrying, technical selling experience in a new-net hunting role - Strong track record of over-performance and a proven ability to drive revenue growth - Ability to collaborate internally and exhibit a 'win as a team' mentality - Experience in building territory plans and executing to plan - Passion for working with growth-stage private companies - Proficiency in technical products and APIs - Passion for Plaid's mission of unlocking financial freedom for everyone - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
