Job Description

About the Role

The Account Executive position at SOCi is a critical component of the company's sales team, responsible for driving growth and identifying new business opportunities in North America. As a key member of the team, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the industry, leveraging your knowledge to develop and execute sales strategies that meet the needs of multi-location brands. Your primary focus will be on prospecting and selling opportunities into these brands, with a consistent track record of sales over-achievement.

In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to develop and refine the company's sales process, ensuring that it remains effective and efficient. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell SOCi's products and services.

As a key representative of SOCi, you will attend top industry and vertical events, promoting the company's brand and building relationships with key decision-makers. Your expertise in localized marketing will be essential in showcasing the value and benefits of SOCi's platform to potential clients.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets
  • Prospect and sell opportunities into multi-location brands, leveraging your industry expertise and network
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth with new and existing customers
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of SOCi's products and services, including new technologies and services
  • Manage and maintain sales pipeline, including projected contract closing dates
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to drive sales growth

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 years of quota-carrying experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in MarTech
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling to multi-location brands, with existing industry contacts and relationships
  • Self-starter with a creative entrepreneurial spirit and a refined sales methodology
  • Ability to develop new ways to drive sales and value to existing and prospective clients
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and resolve prospective client challenges and objections
  • Adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
