About the Role

The Account Executive role at Sweed POS is a key position in the company's efforts to expand its reach in the cannabis industry. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new dispensary accounts, leading demos and negotiations, and forecasting sales growth. You will be working closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in digital sales and customer relationship management, with a proven track record of success in negotiating and closing deals. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering consistent results and meeting sales targets.

In terms of team context, you will be reporting to a senior sales manager and working closely with a team of account executives and sales support staff. What You Will Do

  • Prospect and qualify 12+ new dispensary accounts each week
  • Lead discovery, ROI-focused demos, and multi-threaded negotiations for SMB opportunities
  • Forecast and deliver consistent 30-60-90-day forecast accuracy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, using this knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients
  • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth handover of new clients
  • Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to ensure sales targets are met
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, using this network to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns
  • Analyze sales data, using this information to inform sales strategies and optimize results

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in digital sales, with a focus on customer relationship management
  • Proven track record of success in negotiating and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of the cannabis industry, with a focus on dispensary operations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop informed sales strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering consistent results and meeting sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software, with the ability to effectively manage and maintain client relationships
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, with the ability to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or marketing
