## About the Role The Account Executive - Startups role at Stripe is a pivotal position that involves creating and fostering partnerships between Stripe and the founders of the most innovative and fastest-growing startups in the Nordics. This role is critical as it helps these startups understand how Stripe's financial infrastructure and solutions can support their growth ambitions and create a competitive advantage for their businesses. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to winning all top venture capital-backed startups in Europe.
The role entails a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, the ability to identify high-potential startups, and the skill to advise them on how to leverage Stripe's market-leading financial solutions to their advantage. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle from lead to close and will be responsible for driving campaigns to build new sales pipelines and increase Stripe adoption among users.
## What You Will Do - Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for startups, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and advising them on how to best utilize Stripe's products.
- Identify high-potential prospective users from inbound and outbound leads, leveraging networking opportunities within the startup ecosystem.
- Lead and contribute to team projects aimed at developing and refining sales strategies and processes to accelerate the number of new startups joining Stripe.
- Engage with Accelerators and VC firms to build strong relationships and opportunities for collaboration.
- Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and User Operations teams to amplify Stripe's growth trajectory and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets, expanding the use of Stripe's products among existing clients.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses for potential clients, designing and proposing tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, ensuring consistent growth in sales opportunities.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies that could impact Stripe's offerings and sales strategies.
- Strong interest in technology and the startup ecosystem, with a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by growing startups.
