About the Role

The Account Manager role at USA TODAY Co. is a key position that requires building, maintaining, and growing relationships with clients across multiple platforms. As a primary point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring clients achieve and exceed their marketing goals through strategic campaign planning and data analysis. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the sales team to own the client relationship, demonstrating transparency and delivering results against joint business objectives. You will also collaborate with post-sales optimizers to identify opportunities and effectively deliver solutions that maximize a client's ROI.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of existing and emerging business marketing solutions, as well as the ability to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of digital and traditional marketing concepts.

What You Will Do

  • Manage client relationships across multiple platforms, including search, display, social ads, and O&O digital/print media
  • Develop and implement strategic campaign plans to achieve client marketing goals
  • Analyze data and provide insights to clients on campaign performance
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and grow existing relationships
  • Work closely with post-sales optimizers to deliver solutions that maximize client ROI
  • Create and deliver performance reviews to clients on a regular basis
  • Articulate media programs and devise appropriate strategies and campaign implementation plans
  • Advise clients on the best ways to leverage ongoing and impending marketing strategies
  • Ensure a consistent marketing message across all channels
  • Review day-to-day campaign performance and facilitate client advertising performance discussions
  • Identify proactively creative new advertising techniques to further clients' digital marketing needs

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or a related field
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Excel
  • Experience with programmatic and Adjust
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with customer relationship management and online search and display advertising techniques
  • Knowledge of LocaliQ proprietary technologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GA4 and other emerging marketing technologies
  • Certification in Google Ads or Google Analytics
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Knowledge of retail/service media, sales, and operations
