About the Role

The Account Manager, Client Success role at Axios is a critical position that entails leading post-sale account management for new and existing growth accounts. This involves delivering best-in-class, turnkey client experiences from kickoff to wrap, and requires a competent level of expertise, including the ability to apply skills independently in common situations, understand the broader business context, and contribute effectively with occasional support. The ideal candidate will have a revenue mindset, with the ability to drive client retention, identify growth opportunities, and support media planning efforts to maximize long-term value for both the client and Axios.

As a trusted partner to many clients who are new to Axios, the Account Manager will ensure that these clients feel confident and supported from day one. This will involve quickly learning and articulating how Axios' products work, guiding clients and agency partners through each stage of the post-sale process, and working closely with stakeholders to provide clear communication, proactive solutions, and a high-touch service experience every step of the way.

What You Will Do

  • Lead post-sale account management for new and existing growth accounts, delivering best-in-class client experiences
  • Develop and execute a wide range of campaigns across the Axios product suite, working closely with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Work with Client Partnerships colleagues to support media planning, proposals, and renewal activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned
  • Manage all post-sale campaign elements, including ownership across kick-off calls, production, launch, and reporting
  • Monitor campaign performance and delivery to ensure campaigns are on track to meet client and revenue goals
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, renewal, and upsell, and develop strategies to pursue these opportunities
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with team and company goals, analyzing complex situations and foreseeing potential challenges and opportunities
  • Pull reporting and use analytics to make data-driven campaign optimization recommendations

What We Are Looking For

  • 1+ years of digital campaign planning and execution experience in a publisher or agency environment
  • 2-4 years of work experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of digital media and campaign management, with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex concepts
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills, with obsessive attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively, with a growth mindset and a passion for digital media
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clients, agency partners, and internal teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
  • Proficient in identifying problems and formulating effective solutions independently
