About the Role
The Account Manager position at Ramp is a critical component of the company's commercial team, responsible for driving product adoption, spend activation, and long-term account growth across a portfolio of high-value customers. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills, as account managers will be working closely with decision-makers at commercial customers to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. As a key member of the commercial team, account managers will play a vital role in shaping the company's product roadmap and customer communication strategy.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve building and nurturing strong relationships with commercial customers, developing deep, multi-threaded relationships with decision-makers, and driving spend across the portfolio. Account managers will also be responsible for leading Executive Business Reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and executing successful launches of the Ramp platform.

What You Will Do
- Build and nurture strong relationships with commercial customers to drive product adoption and spend activation
- Develop deep, multi-threaded relationships with decision-makers at commercial customers
- Drive spend across the portfolio by owning retention, adoption, and expansion within existing products
- Lead Executive Business Reviews to identify opportunities for growth and collaborate with clients on strategy and upcoming product releases
- Execute successful launches of the Ramp platform across top-tier accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, support, and marketing, to provide informed recommendations on the product roadmap and customer communication strategy
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement account plans to drive growth and expansion
- Conduct regular business reviews with commercial customers to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a B2B sales or account management role
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry and the needs of commercial customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Familiarity with basic sales tools and common metrics
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel
- High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

- Experience with financial services sales
