About the Role
As an Account Manager, P&C Lines, at Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of middle market clients within the life sciences and technology sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve delivering exceptional service, managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of account management tasks. This role is pivotal in driving client retention and growth, working closely with producers and internal service team members.The life sciences and technology sectors are rapidly evolving, with new risks and challenges emerging regularly. As such, the ability to stay informed about market conditions, emerging risks, and carrier appetite is crucial. Your understanding of key coverages, including general liability, property, cyber liability, and professional/E&O, will be essential in providing tailored risk management strategies to clients.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary service contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
- Coordinate and deliver day-to-day service needs, including policy inquiries, endorsements, certificates, and coverage questions.
- Assist clients with risk management strategies tailored to life sciences and technology exposures.
- Lead the renewal process in collaboration with producers, including marketing, submission preparation, and carrier negotiations.
- Review policies for accuracy, coverage adequacy, and compliance with client needs.
- Prepare renewal proposals and client presentations, identifying coverage gaps and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriting partners, negotiating coverage terms, pricing, and program structures on behalf of clients.
- Manage policy documentation, certificates, and endorsements with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure data integrity within agency management systems and support internal reporting, compliance, and workflow processes.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to drive efficiency and best practices, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in property and casualty insurance brokerage or agency account management.
- Experience servicing middle market accounts, ideally within life sciences and/or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of key coverages, including general liability, property, cyber liability, professional/E&O, D&O/EPLI/fiduciary, and umbrella/excess.
- Active property and casualty license required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong client service orientation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

- Experience with insurance software and technology platforms.
- Knowledge of data analytics and its application in insurance brokerage.
- Certification in insurance (e.g., CPCU, ARM) or a related field.
