About the Role
The Account Support Executive role at RELX is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of sales operations, customer support, and account coordination skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the sales deal lifecycle, from initial contact to closing, and ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with precision and care. You will work closely with multiple teams, including sales, finance, and legal, to structure and execute complex deals, and provide exceptional customer service to RELX's diverse client base.The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to drive business growth. You will be a team player with a strong work ethic, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
What You Will Do
- Manage the sales deal lifecycle, from initial contact to closing, and ensure that all customer interactions are handled with precision and care
- Work closely with multiple teams, including sales, finance, and legal, to structure and execute complex deals
- Provide exceptional customer service to RELX's diverse client base, including resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights to drive business growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure that all financial aspects of the sales deal are handled accurately and efficiently
- Work with the legal team to ensure that all contractual agreements are properly executed and compliant with company policies
- Maintain and update regional process documentation to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Monitor procurement and invoicing requirements, including paperwork aging, purchase orders, and process exceptions
- Address account-level delinquencies by coordinating with relevant stakeholders

- Experience in sales operations, customer support, or account coordination, preferably in a related industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools

- Strong customer service skills, with ability to provide exceptional service to a diverse client base
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
