About the Role

The Accountant position at LINQM is a critical component of the company's financial operations, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting financial reporting, and driving data-driven decision-making across the business. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-growth Consumer Packaged Goods company, eCommerce, or omnichannel environment, with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. What You Will Do

  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Own month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Support inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial data
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Consumer Packaged Goods, retail, or eCommerce environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with inventory and cost accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • CPA or CPA-track certification
  • Experience with Amazon, DTC, or omnichannel retail accounting
  • Familiarity with data tools, such as Looker or Tableau
