Accountant

About the Role

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve reviewing monthly financial statements, preparing budgets and revenue targets, and conducting quarterly growth sessions with clients. You will also be responsible for managing a team of bookkeepers and overseeing the monthly accounting process for your client portfolio.

What You Will Do

• Review monthly financial statements and prepare budgets and revenue targets for clients
• Conduct quarterly growth sessions with clients to review financial performance and identify industry trends
• Manage a team of bookkeepers and oversee the monthly accounting process for your client portfolio
• Prepare financial statements to facilitate clients' decision-making processes
• Address payroll questions and provide first-level troubleshooting
• Delight customers with expert guidance and support
• Manage personal workload to deliver high-quality work products on time
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and management
• Work across teams to keep others informed of client status

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in bookkeeping, public accounting, or small business accounting
• B.S. or M.S. in Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and projects simultaneously
• Solutions-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide exceptional client service
• Ability to develop lasting client relationships

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based financial infrastructure
• Certification in accounting or a related field
• Experience working with small business owners or entrepreneurs
