Job Description

About the Role

The Accounts Executive role is a critical position within Agensi Pekerjaan Great Pyramid Sdn Bhd's finance division, responsible for managing the accounting and bookkeeping duties for the group companies and fund portfolio. This role will be home-based, with the successful candidate working from anywhere in Malaysia during Singapore working hours, Mondays to Fridays. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, energetic, and independent, with a strong focus on detail and excellent written English and grammar skills.

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to the finance team. You will be working closely with the team to ensure seamless financial operations, and your input will be invaluable in driving business growth and success.

What You Will Do

  • Manage monthly accounts in the accounting system Autocount
  • Perform monthly data entry tasks
  • Prepare quarterly and annual data entry for regulatory reporting and board meetings
  • Communicate with banks on account maintenance matters
  • Maintain online accounts and invoices filing
  • Update cash book regularly
  • Prepare annual renewal forms for insurance, internet, storage, and other expenses
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
  • Provide support to the finance team as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in accountancy or working experience in a similar field
  • Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written English and grammar skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in accounting software such as Xero
