About the Role

The Actuarial Consultant will join Capita's rapidly growing GMP team, working on high-profile projects such as GMP equalisation and other rectification exercises.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing advice on GMP equalisation and other rectification projects
  • Deliver results to clients, acting as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of schemes
  • Participate in the development of actuarial policy in relation to occupational pension scheme valuations and pensions legislative developments
  • Provide peer review, sign-off, and mentoring functions to other actuaries and staff

Requirements

  • Nearly or qualified Actuarial Consultant with expertise in GMP equalisation and other rectification projects
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor
  • Technical expertise in actuarial services, including pensions strategy, funding, and valuations
