About the Role
The Adjunct Faculty Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) role at Covista is a part-time position that involves educating students through online platforms. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge, providing feedback, and fostering a respectful learning environment. You will be working with students who are pursuing their degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis, and your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping their understanding of the subject.The role of an adjunct faculty member is multifaceted, and you will be expected to perform a range of tasks, from creating engaging course materials to assessing student progress. You will be working independently, but you will also be part of a larger team of educators who are dedicated to providing high-quality education to students.

What You Will Do
- Teach Applied Behavior Analysis courses online using the eCollege platform
- Interact with students through discussion boards, responding to questions and providing feedback
- Verify the accuracy of student postings and submissions
- Provide grades and feedback to students through Canvas
- Participate in training and socialization into the Walden University culture
- Assess the academic integrity of student work using tools like Turnitin
- Research and supervise theses and dissertations
- Publish your availability to students through course syllabi and other documents
- Participate in residencies held domestically or internationally
- Comply with all policies and standards
What We Are Looking For
- Earned doctorate in the field of Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA-D), or other areas approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification
- Significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience in the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Teaching experience at the degree level of the program
- Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with online learning platforms and technology

- Experience with research supervision and thesis/dissertation guidance
