The Adjunct Faculty Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) role at Covista is a part-time position that involves educating students through online platforms. What You Will Do

  • Teach Applied Behavior Analysis courses online using the eCollege platform
  • Interact with students through discussion boards, responding to questions and providing feedback
  • Verify the accuracy of student postings and submissions
  • Provide grades and feedback to students through Canvas
  • Participate in training and socialization into the Walden University culture
  • Assess the academic integrity of student work using tools like Turnitin
  • Research and supervise theses and dissertations
  • Publish your availability to students through course syllabi and other documents
  • Participate in residencies held domestically or internationally
  • Comply with all policies and standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Earned doctorate in the field of Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA-D), or other areas approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification
  • Significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience in the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Teaching experience at the degree level of the program
  • Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with online learning platforms and technology
