About the Role
The Administrative Assistant role at Officium (BPO) UK Ltd is an exciting opportunity for entry-level professionals to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success. As an Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the compliance and due diligence processes in the real estate industry. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, managing referencing information, and assisting with administrative tasks related to investor deal verification.The company operates in a fast-paced environment, and as such, requires individuals who are organized, efficient, and able to work independently. The Admin Assistant will be part of a remote team, working from home, and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
The Admin Assistant will report to a senior team member and will be expected to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and manage AML checks with the team
- Track and organize AML documentation and verification status
- Ensure compliance requirements are completed before deals proceed
- Provide AML and referencing information to support the Due Diligence (DD) team
- Assist with clarifying compliance information related to deals
- Verify AML or referencing status before deals are shared with Premium Investors
- Ensure compliance checks are completed and documented properly
- Respond to AML or referencing related questions from community members
- Handle compliance-related inquiries from customers using the Become Compliant service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance checks and verifications
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and procedures
What We Are Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and spoken English
- Previous admin support experience preferred
- Ability to manage documentation and compliance records
- Organized and capable of handling confidential information responsibly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Familiarity with compliance processes and AML checks (desirable but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting due diligence or financial operations teams
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Familiarity with customer service software and tools
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting
