What You Will Do

• Manage and develop high-quality educational content that meets Pearson's standards and learning objectives.
• Work closely with authors to guide them through the content creation process, ensuring that all materials are pedagogically sound and engaging.
• Evaluate and edit content submissions to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to accessibility requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with authors, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to produce high-quality content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including learning design, product management, and production, to ensure that all content is aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Analyze patterns in author submissions to refine onboarding, authoring guidelines, and editorial support processes.
• Participate in product planning and scoping discussions to represent content development needs and authoring considerations.
• Apply market and customer feedback to guide content revisions and support continuous improvement.
• Use collaborative tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and consistency in content development.
• Coordinate reviews, sample development, and feedback loops to ensure that all content meets the required standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in editorial development, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong understanding of learning design principles and pedagogical best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage author relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in using AI tools and collaborative software for content development and project management.
• Experience with accessibility requirements and guidelines for educational content.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems and workflow tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to refine processes and improve efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
